HE WINTER BAND is a family band consisting of cousins & friends who have been playing together for years. The Winter Band consists of Chris Svehaug (accordion), Ruthi Sundnes Winter (violin), Mike Winter (string bass), Chuck Sanders (guitar ) . We play mostly “Gamle Norsk” (old Norwegian) songs, dance tunes, and old polka accordion favorites. . We enjoy playing these romantic, sentimental songs and hope we can spread the joy of Scandinavian music."
